  1. Hillingdon CCG has voted to take local control of its budget to buy and provide GP services directly

    Currently the way GP services are bought is shared between the CCG and NHS England. GPs and CCG members voted in February about how we would like to buy these services in future, and we have voted in favour of managing our own budget for primary care (called delegated commissioning)

    The NHS plays an important role in communities up and down the country. Like all public sector organisations, Hillingdon CCG has a legal duty to pay due regard to the need to eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations between different people when carrying out our activities.

    One of the ways we assure ourselves and the local public that we are doing this is by producing an annual report on how we have met our legal duties.

    Patient Access offers you the ability to book appointments online with your local medical centre and, depending on the level of access you are granted, you can even make adjustments to your prescriptions and view your medical records.

    North West London (NWL) Clinical Commissioning Groups(CCG) are currently undertaking a NWL Wide review of the NICE guidance on the management of Lower Back Pain, a key part of this includes stakeholder engagement, including patients.
