Governing Lay Member
25 September 2018
An exciting, part-time role is currently available for an individual looking to get involved in shaping the future of their local NHS and supporting the work of Hillingdon CCG Governing Body and local clinicians. The Governing Lay Member will play a pivotal role in ensuring good governance and that CCGs make the best possible decisions for patients in Brent, Harrow and Hillingdon.
Bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, your focus will be strategic and impartial, providing an independent view of the work of the CCGs that is removed from the day to day running of the organisation. You will oversee key elements of governance including audit, remuneration and the management of conflicts of interest.
Appointments will be made for an initial one year period with consideration for a further term. The candidate must have a strong and close association in either of the boroughs of Brent, Harrow or Hillingdon.
Applications are especially invited from all sections of our local communities.
