Working with our partners
Hillingdon CCG works with a number of partners to improve the health and wellbeing of Hillingdon residents. CCGs have been set up to work closely with organisations involved in health and social care. This is to ensure that together we achieve the best health outcomes for local people.
We work with a range of public, private and voluntary sector organisations involved in commissioning and providing care.
London Borough of Hillingdon
Hillingdon CCG works closely with the London Borough of Hillingdon on health and social care issues. Visit the London Borough of Hillingdon website to find out more about adult and children social care services in the borough and about support available for people to care for others and those unable to care for themselves. Our close relationship with the council is more important than ever as we move towards delivery of the Better Care Fund (BCF), which is a single pooled budget to support health and social care services to work more closely together in local areas.
Health and Wellbeing Board
The Health and Wellbeing Board at the London Borough of Hillingdon is a statutory committee of the council. The board brings together representatives from the council, the CCG and community organisations to work together to improve the health and wellbeing of Hillingdon's population. The board is responsible for producing a joint health and wellbeing strategy.
Healthwatch Hillingdon works closely with the CCG to raise awareness among commissioners, providers and other agencies about the importance of engaging with communities. You can find out more about the role of Healthwatch on the Get Involved pages of this website.
